Culross Festival
The Culross Festival Committee was formed in 1976 and was originally a Folk Festival.
The objective and aims of the committee are to encourage initiatives which will aid the promotion of the arts with the village and beyond fostering a community spirit of involvement in the same. We also seek to encourage and enable provision to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their artistic capabilities enabling them to achieve their potential.

Ruby Turner

“One of the greatest voices the UK has ever produced. Last year, Ruby has been touring the world with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Band. Described as truly the genuine article and blessed with a voice that has been likened to Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin, Ruby continues to win the hearts and minds of an ever growing and diverse fan base”
Skerryvore
Saturday 4th June 7.30p.m. Tickets £15.00
“Blazing bagpipes, fiddle and accordians, electrically fused with funky rhythms and soul-gripping songs – Skerryvore are an award winning Scottish band of six young men from Tiree, creating a trad-rock fusion for the 21st Century. We may well have found a Runrig for the 21st Century – The Herald.”
Don Giovanni
Sunday 5th June 4.00p.m. Tickets £25.00
“The highlight of the Festival. Opera Project return, after their splendid performance last year of Cosi fan Tutte, with this most blistering of Mozart’s operas. With live orchestra, Abbey House becomes transformed into the best outdoor concert hall in Scotland. The doors will open at 2.00p.m. to allow patrons to use the grounds for picnicking. Dine al fresco, drink some wine, drink in the music.”
